Our website uses or may use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage, and similar technologies. Some technologies are necessary for the website to function. Others help us understand site traffic and performance, remember preferences, prevent fraud, measure campaigns, or support advertising.
We currently use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google may collect information through cookies or similar technologies and process that information under its own privacy terms.
We may also use Meta Pixel and other advertising or measurement technologies. These tools may allow Apex and advertising partners to collect information about visits and interactions, measure advertising effectiveness, create audiences, and deliver advertisements that may be more relevant to users. Under some state privacy laws, use of these technologies may be considered “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged for personal information.
Where required, our website will provide a cookie-consent or preference tool that allows you to manage non-essential technologies. You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website features. Where applicable, we will process legally recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as required by law and as technically supported.
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:
– Insurance-market participants, including insurance carriers, underwriters, reinsurers, wholesale brokers, managing general agents, premium-finance providers, claims administrators, adjusters, and other parties involved in quoting, underwriting, placing, servicing, financing, or administering coverage or claims.
– Service providers, including providers of website hosting, information technology, cybersecurity, communications, customer relationship management, document management, payment processing, data storage, analytics, marketing, call recording, professional services, and other operational support.
– Referral and business partners, when necessary to respond to your request, provide a requested product or service, measure a referral relationship, or offer services that may interest you, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.
– Advertising and analytics partners, including Google, Meta, and similar providers that help us understand website use, measure campaigns, or support advertising.
– Professional advisers and authorities, including attorneys, accountants, auditors, regulators, licensing authorities, law enforcement, courts, and government agencies when disclosure is required or reasonably appropriate.
– Parties to a business transaction, including actual or prospective buyers, investors, lenders, advisers, and other parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.
– Other parties at your direction, with your consent, or as otherwise permitted by law.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosures to advertising, analytics, referral, or business partners may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state privacy laws. Where those laws apply, you may have the right to opt out as described below.
When you ask Apex for information, request a quote, or seek a product or service that Apex does not provide directly, we may disclose the information reasonably necessary to respond to your request to insurance carriers, wholesalers, service providers, or referral partners. Those third parties may use the information under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
We will not represent that a third party is acting solely on Apex’s behalf when it independently determines how to use personal information. You should review the privacy notice of any carrier, portal, quote provider, or other third party with which you choose to interact.
Apex may make third-party quote tools, application systems, payment services, or client portals available through links, embedded tools, or integrations. These services may collect personal information directly from you and may operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Apex may receive information from those providers when necessary to respond to your request or service your account.
Automated tools used by insurance carriers or third-party providers may assist with eligibility, underwriting, risk evaluation, pricing, or other insurance decisions. Apex does not control the independent data practices or decision systems of those third parties. Any rights concerning a carrier’s or provider’s independent processing may need to be exercised directly with that organization.
Telephone calls with Apex may be monitored, recorded, or transcribed for training, quality assurance, documentation, security, compliance, and customer-service purposes. Apex will provide notice and obtain consent where required by applicable law. If you do not wish to be recorded, please inform the Apex representative. Alternative communication methods may be available.
If you consent to receive marketing emails, text messages, or calls, you may withdraw that consent as provided in the communication or by contacting us. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing insurance or another service. Transactional or service-related communications may continue where permitted by law.
Depending on your state of residence, the nature of our relationship, and applicable exemptions, you may have the right to:
– confirm whether we process your personal information and access that information;
– request correction of inaccurate personal information;
– request deletion of personal information;
– obtain a portable copy of certain personal information;
– learn about the categories of personal information collected, the sources and purposes of collection, and the categories of recipients;
– opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising;
– opt out of certain profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects;
– limit or withdraw consent to certain uses of sensitive personal information;
– appeal a decision concerning a privacy request; and
– receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.
These rights are not absolute. Insurance, financial, health, employment, fraud-prevention, legal-compliance, and other information may be exempt from some state consumer privacy laws or may be governed by separate federal or state requirements. We may deny or limit a request when permitted or required by law, including when we cannot verify identity, must retain information, need the information to provide a requested service, or must protect the rights and safety of others.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain insurance and transaction records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the nature of our relationship, applicable limitation periods, and legal, contractual, licensing, and insurance-industry requirements. We will delete, de-identify, or securely dispose of information when it is no longer reasonably required, subject to applicable law.

A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, and we encourage you to review the applicable third-party privacy policy before providing personal information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal obligations. The revised version will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.
